Hey Derek

I am living in the UK, and can tell you I miss the SA parties (especially H20) and definitely your mixing- the last time I saw you was at Splash Dec 2003, and man it was good to hear you.
I am so happy i ran across an article about your podcast!
This is the best thing ever, Its nice to see what you boys are up to…makes me homesick BIG TIME.
Have a blast at ESP…the good ole days, and keep up the gr8 tunes and excellent attitude!

derek you rock,i was looking forward to seeing you at the escape , after hearing that you were not going to be there it wasnt the same. no dj in the world can play a morning session as u , the other dj’s played well , but a rave is not a rave without DEREK “THE BANDIT” anyway hope ur alright

Hey Derek nice to finally get onto your website,I’m 27yrs young and have grown up listening to dance/house and derek the bandit wacking your woofers!I started going to the mother raves at the station man what a blast it was and you where there!I continued to go to h2o and splash and you where there!I still to go E.S.P and you continue to be there thumping out great mixes.To me and i’m sure i speak for half a million other youngens,that YOU are the godfather of dance/house music in our wonderful country,so let me say THANKS for the music man!You’ve since inspired me to become a D.J and love bringing house to the masses.I look forward to the future and your ever undying contribution to the world of dance music.I hope one day dance/house will be as big as it is in the U.K and Europe,Let the music play on!Thai

Hi Derek,

I was in the possession of you Derek The Bandit Set 1 & 2 albums, this is S.A and unfortunately they were stolen from me, I unfortunately cannot find any stores selling these albums and you know they ROCKKK!! I have been to Musica CD Warehouse, Reliable, to no avail, could you kindly point me in the correct direction as to where I may obtain these albums.

Hey Derek,

I listened to you play on 5fm last night on Fresh’s show. It was kick-ass! Brought back so many great memories!

Anyway, was wondering if you are releasing a ‘Farewell Album’ with all the tunes you played last night? I’ve got to get my grubby hands on it and so does my mates! I’ve misplaced all my old Bandit albums.
